Ceramic Green Wall

The thermal effect of green façade systems has been well researched and the use of ceramic objects as passive cooling devices has great historic precedent; however, there has been significantly less research on, and experimentation with, the thermal possibilities of combining the materiality of clay with the sustainable design solutions of green façade systems. This proposal was created for the Materials-Based Research Grant for the Center for Craft in Asheville, NC.
